Statewide Education Summit
Howard N. Lee, visionary founder of the Howard N. Lee Institute, a nonprofit education group
established on furthering the educational outcome of students in our public schools.
Join the Institute and its formal network of organizations, businesses and collegiate partners
in our mission to improve the educational opportunities for all students
through collaboration and coordination.
The Institute will conduct a series of local forums leading up to a statewide summit
serving as a resource to local leaders interested in developing and implementing a
strategic plan for addressing the crisis of failing students, student dropouts,
achievement gap challenges and low performing schools.
Support the students and the work of the Institute with your contribution today and Join the Movement!
The Howard N. Lee Institute for Equity and Opportunity in Education, a 501(c) (3) charitable
organization, works to provide students equitable access to high quality education programs and
opportunities so that they may successfully compete in a knowledge-based,
innovation-driven global economy.
The Initiative will support minority male students to increase their success from
pre-school through elementary and middle school, culminating in high school graduation in four years.
North Carolina Education Summit:
September 24, 25 & 26 at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Institute will work to identify gifted and talented at-risk students from diverse social, economic
and cultural backgrounds to provide them with support through high school and then
financial aid through college.
The Howard N. Lee Institute invites you to engage with our online community of parents, business leaders, teachers, schools leaders, professors, faith-based leaders, elected officials, students and the entire Community.
